Chakdaha Sri Loknath Women Welfare Society (CSLWWS) is informally working since 1999 and same has been registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 in 2001 as non-political, non-profit making and non Government grassroots level organization is also registered under section 80G (V) & (VI) and 12AA of Income Tax Act, 1961 to get income tax exemption and Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) to get foreign donations and grants. The foundation day of the organization is June 03, 1999.


To create responsiveness amongst rural people in general and particularly women and children about their health, education and basic rights, support them to recognize/recover their potentialities through skills up-gradation, knowledge sharing and enhance technical competence, guide women to generate income and grab economic benefit for promoting sustainable development in rural economy. Rendering services through various socio economic activities for their sustainable development, especially for poor and marginalized sections of population. Focuses on restoring health, hope and decorum among people affected by tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and other health conditions exacerbate by stigma and social discrimination. Also to create a strong base of supporters of active citizens who will contribute their time (through volunteering) and/or their funds to help CSLWWS fulfil its mission?


To build a more equal, just, and sustainable world by empowering poor to increase their bargaining power, able to demand their rights, uplifted class come forward to support poor women, advocating for an effective, accountable and transparent society, create profile of diseases of disgrace and deficiency and address vicious cycle of poverty and discrimination at all level. Establish value oriented sustainable society based on social orientation, economic growth, local capability building and empowerment of people for a complete social transformation.
