  History of the rganization

The ‘Chakdaha Sri Loknath Women Welfare Society’ is registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 and is working in the downtrodden communities of rural and urban areas in Nadia District for the last more than 15 years. Organization is active in the area of socio-economic development, extending health related technical knowledge among under privileged women & children and promoting and propagating the culture of disadvantaged people. Subsequently, as per the confined troubles and the issues, the development activities in health, nutrition, education, socio-economic, cultural etc. were all undertaken. CSLWWS supports interventions by tribal and under-privileged women’s groups on issue of accurate to mobility which is framed within a constitutional rights based discernment and which facilitate the expansion of women’s decision making and sustainable leadership. CSLWWS was starting the drive of Community Development with women empowerment since 2001 in slums of urban settings and the inaccessible villages of Nadia district, West Bengal. So far we have provided compulsory training, inspired and extended help them to acquire skills, critically analysing their problems and designing appropriate plan to achieve their comprehensive empowerment of the women and children. We believe in participatory approach or two ways communication methods for better understanding. Through these activities CSLWWS endeavours to conscious people particularly women about their rights and raise their voices and coherent attending their requirements.

  Soft Skills Training Event
Overall objectives

Our organization took initiative to conduct the 2 district level soft skills training with 50 Health workers on communication skills & RNTCP to improve the motivational skills to counsel the patients and........
